What a chiropractic adjustment is
A chiropractic adjustment uses a specific, controlled force applied to a joint that is not moving properly. The goal is to restore joint mobility, improve spinal function and support the healthy working of your nervous system. Adjustments are adapted to each patient’s age, size and condition.
What to expect
Care always begins with a consultation and a thorough examination, including a health history and, where appropriate, x-rays. Dr. Simon explains his findings and recommends an individual course of care before any treatment begins. Most patients find adjustments comfortable, and any post-adjustment soreness is usually mild and short-lived.
Who it may help
Chiropractic care is most often used for neuromusculoskeletal complaints such as back pain, neck pain, joint pain and headaches. Where a condition calls for a different kind of care, we refer patients to the appropriate health care provider.
